Reproducible method
kg CO₂e = quantity × factor in kg CO₂e per activity unit; tonnes = kg / 1000. Unit and gas/GWP conversions must be resolved before entering a factor. Offsets, avoided and biogenic emissions are not silently included.
Fixed hypothetical example — not live data
100 activity units × fictional 0.5 kg CO₂e/unit = 50 kg CO₂e = 0.05 tonnes. This is arithmetic, not an observed electricity factor.
